During my social studies class at Conant High School I had a chance to experience mapping for the first time. I really enjoyed learning about global issues that people experience around the world and what makes them more susceptible to these issues. TeenMaptivists helped me understand how important mapping is and how it can change people’s lives. I didn’t know that the mapping greatly impacts how people receive their food and how it connects farmers to the market. I believe that TeenMaptivists organization brings people together and creates an environment where we help each other to create a safe environment and space for everyone.
